Geo Marathon

The Geo marathon, 2018, the event of pride and the event was to do our bit to support the clean cause through Geo India foundation, a nonprofit organization. The very inception of this event is to attract the attention of the society and sporting talent for the clean cause. Geo India foundation salutes the spirit of Chennai, to unite all those who deep down their hearts want to take the responsibility to keep our living neighboring clean and hygiene.

In this event more than 9000 people of different walks of life has participated. As clean cause initiative, during this campaign Geo India Foundation has cleaned 62 tons of waste and garbage in two lakes and streets, including public places.

Women’s Marathon

Women’s Marathon is 3kms run by more than 1000 women held in Elliot’s beach as part of the women’s day celebration to highlight the need for women empowerment. Apart from many woman professionals, students and homemakers and/many persons from different walks of life have participated in the marathon.

In addition, to achieving economic independence - Each kilometer run represents one of the three stages that our women experience as they voyage along their route to personal and professional success—from being unemployed and searching, to freshly employed and bending, to productively employed and successive.

Green Marathon

Green Marathon is a campaign to educate the society, the importance of plantation and remedy for global warming. Planting trees is the only source of hope to save the environment. The campaign is aimed at creating awareness about environmental issues, climate changes by involving the people of society to make a difference. It received an overwhelming response and garnered support from all corners of the city.

Marathon were participated by more 3000 persons between the ages of 3yrs to 55yrs. Geo India Foundation’s Green Marathon does not just stop by creating awareness but also have gifted 2 feet herbal plant for all the participants to encourage them for tree plantation. 4000 trees were also planted on the following days.

Wonder Women Awards

The Wonder Women Awards celebrate the huge wealth of outstanding contributions and achievements of women from thriving community, showcasing extraordinary examples of courage, triumph, kindness, compassion, transformation, skill and success.

This year event was a grand success by the heads of industries, business chiefs, community leaders, entrepreneurs, celebrities and other well-known figures from our region’s private, public sectors. Many from them have presented Wonder Women Awards to our deserving winners.

Geo India Foundation with the 25 identified stories of unsung heroines, community champions and women who have gone above and beyond in the course of their work, service and passions. Those 25 women were cherished and appreciated for their exceptional accomplishments in their respective fields. All were awarded as the wonder women of the year 2019 with elegant black lady statue.

Missile Manathon

On the 3rd Remembrance Day of our beloved former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, a novel walkathon event for children was organized by our Foundation at besant Nagar beach in Chennai. Several thousand children representing many schools from across the length and breadth of Chennai has participated.

Students from various Schools took part in the Walkathon wearing Dr.Abdul Kalam’s face mask, displaying their remembrance and love for our beloved Ex-President of India. Ms. Priya Jemima, Founder Geo India Foundation, Mr. Amarnath, CEO Kavi group and Army Major - Malini flagged of the Walkathon and many socially responsible leaders participated in the event and tree plantation drive. The walkathon was followed by “20,000 trees plantation drive” at various schools of Chennai with an aim to recover the lost trees due to the Vardha cyclone disaster in 2016.

We aim to recover the lost greenery of chennai not just by planting trees but also by ensuring prompt maintenance and watering of the trees daily, and an oath ceremony was conducted wherein the children took ownership and responsibility of maintaining the trees planted by them.

Wonder Women Care

Wonder Women care aim is to promote healthy practice among the Indian population by way of women Hygiene, Healthy contraceptive practices and safe disposal of used napkin pads. We not only promote but also provide complete solution by providing quality menstrual products, ensuring availability at the press of button (without hesitation and stigma) and safe / environment friendly disposal of used pads.

We intend to carter to entire society for promotion of menstrual health and improve women hygiene practices. In order to tackle these problems, and to provide round the clock quality sanitary napkin, Geo India Foundation proposes a noble way & solution by installing sate of the art automated sanitary napkin vending machines & to dispose the used sanitary napkin pads, through sanitary napkin incinerators.

Healthy Lifestyle Festival

The Healthy Lifestyle Festival is a fitness based activities in which kids and families have participated.

This festival is the ultimate family event—it has something fun for both.
